Foster Grandparent: Foster grandparents help in the classroom with routine activities and nurturing interactions with children.  The program is administered through a partnership with the Catholic Charities Foster Grandparent Program.

Friends of Rainbows United: Friend's members foster community support for Rainbows by increasing public awareness through special events and volunteer projects that meet identified needs.  Annual membership dues are required.

Office Assistant: Administrative activities may include filing, photocopying, mass mailings, running errands, data input, and special projects.

Special Events: Volunteers assist with Rainbows-sponsored events, including helping with registration, stuffing envelopes, event clean-up, and loading and unloading materials.

Parents Involvement: Sharing personal stories is one of the most powerful ways parents can volunteer.  Other activities include participating in classroom activities, preparing materials, reading, sewing, baking, facilities maintenance, and assisting during meal times.

Therapy Dog Program: Regularly scheduled visits by trained therapy dogs and owners feature positive interactions and structured lessons.  Therapy dog owners are responsible for the costs of training and maintaining their personal therapy dog.
