Shanna Lacey, Sedgwick County Infant/Toddler Services Coordinator, is an avid runner who loves to start her day with an early morning run. “I love a good challenge,” said Shanna, “and my days at Rainbows are busy and challenging.”
A Fort Hays State University graduate, Shanna joined the Rainbows’ Leadership Team in 2021 after working as a director in childcare facilities for over 20 years. With her background, Shanna is very experienced with KDHE rules and regulations and that has helped her to understand Part C regulations. Shanna oversees a large staff, monitors children’s paperwork, and makes sure everything is in compliance with KDHE and Part C regulations. “My favorite part of this job is that everyone is so friendly, and willing to help when needed,” she said.
“Shanna continues to grow and learn new things every day,” said Lindsay Kral, Vice President of Programs and Services. “She’s been a great addition to our team.”
Shanna and her husband Brandon like to mountain bike and travel multiple times a year to enjoy the mountains on their bikes. They have three children Mason 21, Taylinn 19, and Emma 3. Brandon and Shanna love to travel to visit their older children and attend sporting events at Kansas State University and Fort Hays State University.
