Incredibly dedicated and ready to serve
“I am a speech language pathologist and have been blessed to work for the last 25 years as either an early childhood special education teacher or speech language pathologist with kiddos from birth to 5 years old,” said Beth Watkins. Beth has worked for Rainbows United since 2005.
Crystal began working at the Rainbows’ Kid’s Cove location in June of 2014. She received her Undergraduate Degree in Communication Sciences and Disorders with a minor in Psychology from Wichita State University and her Master’s Degree in Speech-Language Pathology from the University of Kansas.
“I never thought of art as a skill but it has been a great outlet throughout my lifetime.” Dawna Weed said. In fact, throwing pots was a part of her Occupational Therapy training in college. Since then, Dawna has worked for Rainbows more than 20 years.
Joanna Wiebe chose to become a speech language pathologist because she enjoys working with people. She started college as a business major and by her sophomore year realized that she should change career paths.
