Lacy Critchfield has a diverse background in strategy planning and execution, process management, strategic sales and marketing, business development, innovation management, and network growth. She currently is the Global Sales Manager for McCauley Propeller products at Textron Aviation and just recently graduated from Thunderbird in Arizona with a Masters of Global Management.
Lacy was raised in Iowa before moving to Wichita to complete her undergraduate in International Business in 2016. While at Wichita State, she studied abroad in France and participated as a consultant for a Bordeaux vineyard on the creation and implementation of new international sales, marketing, and business strategies to successfully expand more into USA, European, and APAC regions. She was a member of Kappa Kappa Gamma and president of the Shocker Student Marketing Association. During her tenure as president, the organization won the campus’ “Outstanding Small Organization” award and became Wichita’s collegiate group for the American Marketing Association (AMA). For this success, she held a seat on the Wichita Professional Chapter of AMA’s board to create synergy between the collegiate and business professional groups.
Also while at Wichita State, Lacy started her aviation career as a Sales and Marketing Co-op for McCauley at Textron Aviation. After the year-long co-op and graduation from WSU, she then transitioned into a full time role in Aftermarket as a Business Analyst. There she supported the service center network of 18 global locations with SAP implementation and support, process improvements, and trainings for Aftermarket A&Ps to the leadership teams. Next she moved to an Aftermarket Sales Analyst supporting the global Parts, Programs, and Service sales and leadership teams of each. There she developed innovative dashboards, completed market research for trends and metrics reporting, and led the Aftermarket rotation of the Sales Development Program and sales rotation of the Aftermarket Development Program. During this time she was also selected for and completed Leadership Academy put on by Wichita’s W (YPW), a part of the Chamber of Commerce.
Recently she has returned to McCauley as the Global Sales Manager where she manages aftermarket and new production sales, creation of new business and sales strategies, and market growth of McCauley with a variety of aircraft OEMs, Maintenance, Repair, and Overhaul Shops, the Experimental Aircraft market, and General Aviation Owner/Operators for piston and turboprop aircraft.
She is continuously working towards new achievements which currently includes her private pilot’s license, Spanish fluency, and experiencing the cultures of all continents. She has passions for traveling and different cultures, aerobatics, sport flying, and the arts. She in active in the community with W, Junior Achievement, United Way Young Leaders United, Storybook Wichita, Wichita’s Littlest Heroes, Dress for Success, Girls on the Run, and Textron Aviation’s WINGS.
