Rainbows’ 10:15+ Club honors and recognizes staff members who have been with Rainbows for 10 years or more. In 2021, the 10:15+ Club had a total of 53 members! Each year, on October 15 (10/15) Club members gather together, arriving at 10:15 a.m., to enjoy a day of camaraderie and celebration.
This year Club members traveled to Derby and the Hubbard Arts Center. This little-known gem was the perfect spot to gather, laugh, eat and have fun learning pottery, barn quilt painting, paint pouring and restaurant copycat recipes. Art Director Aimee Geist said, “We enjoyed meeting Rainbows’ employees and the opportunity to celebrate their hard work and accomplishments with them!”
The highlight of the day is the Awards Ceremony where staff are honored for milestone achievements. Congratulations to the following staff who were honored for their milestone achievements this year!

“10:15+ Club was a great day, celebrating milestones and creating art work,” said Kerri Dixon, Foster Care Social Worker and Targeted Case Manager. Speech Language Pathologist Peggy Burns added, “I had so much fun! The food was delicious, the awards were great, (I love my earrings, shirt, jar, pot holder, pastry roller). The classes were amazing! We had so much fun in our painting class. It was just a super fun day.”
“I think the 10:15+ Club celebration is a fun day and a time for long-term staff to get together,” said Susan Harsh, Butler County Infant/Toddler Services Coordinator. “I appreciate that the Rainbows’ Board and Leadership team go to all the trouble to give us a day to enjoy each other and celebrate staff who have had a long history with the agency. It’s always a great day!”
