Campers show off their gifts and skills.

Camp Woodchuck 2015

Another fun-filled summer at Camp Woodchuck is underway! The 2015 theme is “Rainbows Got Unique Talent” giving campers the opportunity to show off their gifts and skills. “Camp is an incredible time for both our campers and staff,” said Lark Walker, Family Support Supervisor. “When we get to see a campers face light up because of seeing or experiencing one of our many activities, it makes you want to do even more to make it fun for them.”

Camp Woodchuck is a 9-week summer camp for children and youth with special needs. School age campers will have a great summer playing and interacting with their peers in a safe environment. In addition to the traditional events, campers will have the opportunity to play TV show-like games and activities. Camp staff also plans a unique spin on traditional games by making them larger than life! On Thursday, June 25 the campers held the annual Camp Fashion Show!

Each classroom had their own unique theme and strutted their stuff down the runway. Crave Beauty Academy provided hair and makeup services to help each model look their best and Bonnie Bing was this year’s emcee. Each camper brought their own one of a kind style making this year the best show yet!

Dates of activities open to family and friends: July 16 – Talent Show July 23 – Art Show July 30 – Graduation On Thursday July 23, at 1:30 pm before the Art Show, the Voices of the Rainbow choir will give a special performance!
