Do you have room for a foster child?

At Rainbows, the heart of our mission is to serve children who have intellectual and developmental disabilities and it’s imperative that we have families who help us do that. Rainbows’ Foster Care Program specializes in serving children in foster care who have intellectual and developmental disabilities and we need foster homes for these special children.

Rainbows works closely with foster families to ensure they have everything they need to support the children and their families. Rainbows is fortunate to have a foster care social worker, Kerri Dixon who has been with Rainbows more than 20 years. She is a constant for the families she works with which is a very special thing. Her longevity and breadth of knowledge make her a great asset to Rainbows’ Specialized Foster Care Program.

Please watch the video above to learn more about the program, then see if becoming a foster parent would be a good fit for you by attending a virtual Foster Care Information Session Friday, February 16, 12:30-1 p.m. or Monday, March 18, 12-12:30 p.m. Please contact Kerri Dixon if interested! kdixon@rui.org or 316.558.3439
