Stephanie Johnson

Stephanie Johnson has grown up with a passion for Rainbows. The daughter of Shirley and Gordon Johnson, Rainbows’ maintenance supervisor, Stephanie spent many hours listening to her father’s stories and learning to love the Rainbows’ mission.

While in college, Stephanie worked at Rainbows and now, pursuing her career in radiology services, she still volunteers her time to Rainbows. Stephanie combines her passion for Rainbows with her talent for photography. She has captured the expressions of children walking the runway at Fashion Passion, the joy of families at Tanganyika for the Hampel Luau, the crazy fun of Blarney Breakfast and other Rainbows’ events.

When she’s not working or volunteering at Rainbows, Stephanie is a traveler. She’s been to thirteen of the United States, the Netherlands and Spain. Her photographs show the character of the places she’s been. “Charleston has so much history and the beginnings of our country all around it. The Pacific Northwest is full of beautiful nature and amazing things to see,” said Stephanie. “I’m hoping one day to visit other amazing places around the world.”
