The 10:15+ club recognizes staff achievements.

Celebrating staff members years of service

Among the list of Rainbows Guiding Principles is “Be positive, celebrate success and recognize achievements.” There is one day every year that is designated as a celebration for staff members who have served at Rainbows for 10 or more years, the 10:15+ Club event.

On October 15 every year club members are transported to secret locations where the day is spent doing fun activities and celebrating their milestones. The 10:15+ Club is currently 74 members strong! This year when the buses first unloaded, everyone gathered and applauded the new members who received a special jacket with the 10:15+ logo. This year’s event was held on a beautiful day at Fulton Valley Farm in Towanda. Awards were first on the agenda and milestones were announced for 10, 15, 20, and 25 years.

Everyone then ate a delicious lunch catered by Augusta’s Brick Street Bake Shoppe. Throughout the day attendees had the opportunity to walk the grounds and enjoy the weather. Next, many gathered for a movie. The day’s activities ended with a painting craft from Color Me Mine, when each person decorated a plate or mug. It is evident from the size of the group that our staff is passionate about working at Rainbows. It is an exciting moment when a staff member is inducted into the 10:15+ Club.

Thank you to all 10:15+ Club members who have dedicated 10 years or more to Rainbows, we appreciate everything you have done, do, and will do for the children and families we serve!
