Julie joined the Rainbows’ Board of Directors in 2018. “Julie’s dedication to family and her commitment to making a difference in the community make her a perfect fit for the Rainbows’ Board,” said Gail Johnson, 2018 Board Chair.
Julie says her favorite activity has been to visit Camp Woodchuck and see the children enjoying the outdoors, and witness their joy in their various games and activities. She is a fan of Rainbows United because of the mission to help children with intellectual and developmental disadvantages develop and grow, gain confidence and provide them with experiences that they wouldn’t otherwise receive.
Originally from Wisconsin, Julie is married to Tom and they have three children. Caroline is attending the Carl Icahn School of Medicine at Mt. Sinai Hospital in New York City; Stephanie and Charlie attend Wichita Collegiate School. They also have two black Labradors, Gino and Gus.
